Memphis Police are searching for a suspect connected to a recent robbery at a cell phone store on Elvis Presley Boulevard and a broader series of similar incidents at retail locations across the city. The latest reported robbery occurred on January 14, 2025, when officers responded to a call at a Metro by T-Mobile store at 4673 Elvis Presley Boulevard.
Investigators reported that the suspect entered the store appearing to be a customer, initially asking about iPhones, before moving behind the counter while armed and demanding money from the cash register. Police said the suspect then directed an employee toward a back office area, took several empty phone boxes, and attempted to force the employee into a safe. The suspect fled on foot after being unable to secure the safe.
